Get professional help in building your professional photo portfolio. Getting recognition for your work starts by creating a stunning folio and by learning basic self promotional tactics.
You will be guided through the entire process of the making of a digital portfolio:
• choosing the right pictures;
• create your digital portfolio;
• learn basic self promotional tactics.
By the end of the workshop you will have build your professional digital portfolio both for display and print. You'll have learned some basic tactics to promote your work.
WORKSHOP DETAILS
Day 1 - 2 hours
Critical review
Going through a critical review will help you understand your photographer's identity and define your own goals.
You will be given instructions on how to organize a library of images for day 2.
Day 2 - 4 hours
Images selection - Create your digital folio 1
Picture selecting criteria vary depending on photographer's identity. You will be helped in choosing the right amount and kind of pictures to powerfully describe your identity and achieve your final goals. - Learn how to create a PDF portfolio. Get advice from a professional designer on how to edit your images and collect them in a multipage file. Choose an output style that reflects your identity and that is functional to your goals.
You will be given instructions on how to pack your portfolio for day 3.
Day 3 - 4 hours
Create your digital folio 2 - Self promotion
Portfolio review and finalisation. At the end of the process you will have created an editable and printable professional photo portfolio. Present your new folio and receive insights on the photographer's workflow. Learn some basic self promotional tactics.

The workshop is designed for photographers of all levels who wants to build a folio to reach an audience or to improve the quality of their existing portfolio. All participants must bring a laptop computer with software for organizing and presenting images.
Each workshop is limited to 1/2 student.
