The World in Photo organises 3 to 4 days photographic expeditions worldwide.
The expeditions are designed as a mix between a photographic workshop and an active holiday for independent travelers and photographers of all levels. You will explore the destination and the festivals guided in small private groups (5 to 10 people) with several opportunities to "live it" on your own. Bring your spouse or friends.
The expeditions will give you the opportunity to:
• Access to special aspect of the visited event or place with an approach based on participation rather than simply observation
• Know the best places where to sleep, shop, dine and explore; during, before, and after the expedition
• Learn photographic tips and techniques through in the field photo sessions and review & critique workshop

Join our photo expedition to JAPAN, by taking part in a photographic workshop in two outstanding locations.
Ever dreamt of realizing an art photo project but never succeeded?
We will help you succeed by defining a photographic theme with you before the expedition, and coach you in Japan through its development which will results in of a collection of images for display and print.
Connect with the people, culture and philosophy of Japan trough your camera. Learning by doing, you will improve your photographic skills in memorable places and moments.
We will be holding two workshop, the first in Tokyo the second in Kyoto. Students will have the opportunity of joining both workshop.
Each workshop will provide two different levels: beginners and advanced.

COSTS
The cost of the workshop is HK$ 5,900 per person* ** ***
Students taking part in both Tokyo and Kyoto workshop will pay a discounted fee of HK$ 9,900
Each workshop is limited to 10 people - minimum 6 people
*Workshop participation fees only. The course fee includes one-to-one/group online, in the field and classroom coaching sessions and seminars as listed in the program. Participants will have to book their flights and accomodations by themsleves. Suggestion for places to stay in Tokyo and Kyoto will be provided. All expenses such as accommodation, meals, transportation to and from Japan, transportation within Japan during the expedition, entrance to sites are to be covered by participants.
** Students must finalize their participation by paying the full course fee by 31 May 2011. The expedition will be confirmed by 15 June pending reaching a minimum of 6 participants for each workshop.
*** 50% of the course fee will be refunded for cancellation before 30 June 2011. If the minimum number of participants is below the minimum on 31 May 2011 100% of the course fee will be refunded.
